Life After Active Duty Helps Veterans and their Families Transition through Active Military Service and Building a Successful Life

Life After Active Duty (LAAD) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization designed to advocate for troops returning home and veterans at every stage of their lives, in particular, their life after active military service. With an emphasis on identifying and addressing individual needs, we help them navigate through a myriad of resources and services. By working closely in tandem with collaborative community partners, we minimize barriers so our veterans can more easily access and receive the services they need. LAAD focuses on the emotional, mental, and physical needs of each veteran through the implementation of innovative and forward-thinking programs and services.

Veterans Making a Difference

Too often, when you check out the news, it all seems to be so negative. There are some good people out there that we do not hear about - incredibly brave souls who do things because it just seems like the right thing to do.

Although expanded resources are available to Iraq-Afghanistan-era veterans, they face significant challenges as they re-enter civilian life. Life After Active Duty exists so they don't face those challenges alone.
