Veterans have protected our communities, and it is now time for the community to step up to embrace and protect them. LAAD has many opportunities to get involved, from becoming a mentor, volunteering, to administrative support and professional services.

Become a Mentor

There are few things more rewarding in this world than mentorship. LAAD assigns a personal mentor to each participant in the Life Enhancement Program (LEP). Training is offered to qualified applicants.

Make a Difference - Volunteer

LAAD relies heavily on volunteers to help meet program goals. Without the support of dedicated volunteers, LAAD would not be able to accomplish its mission. Even if you cannot volunteer on a regular basis, LAAD has special events or community outreach opportunities that need your support. Click here to register to be a Volunteer.

Spread the Word

Most Important Of All – Spread The Word

  • Military experience? Come share your story.
  • Serve as a registration volunteer at our quarterly public forums (see special events calendar)
  • Help spread the word at community health fairs, conferences, and meetings.
  • Serve as a community ambassador by letting others know about our programs and services. (Training will be provided.)

No organization can do the work alone. Our community partners are vital to making sure that we meet our goals to support the veteran alumni community for years to come.
