Life After Active Duty’s (LAAD), Eva Secchiari announces expansion plans


August 8, 2017 (LAS VEGAS, NEVADA) --- Life After Active Duty (LAAD) is proud to announce expansion plans that are being implemented effective immediately. LAAD has expanded and launched its main office inside The Learning Center, located at 777 North Rainbow Boulevard SUITE 150, Las Vegas, Nevada 89107 and a satellite office located at City Center West, 7251 West Lake Mead Boulevard  SUITE, Las Vegas, NV 89128. Since 2015 The Learning Center has been a collaborative partner of LAAD. The Learning Center provides training and certification for the leading areas of expertise within the IT and Cybersecurity landscape.

LAAD focuses on the emotional, mental, and physical needs of each veteran through the implementation of innovative and forward-thinking programs and services. In order to fulfill its mission LAAD continues to provide award-winning programs that it previously offered at the Veterans Transition Resource Center. Programs include but are not limited to: Self-Care For Caregivers / Elizabeth Dole Foundation Hidden Heroes facilitated by Amy Frost, MBA and MA Psychology; Alternative PTSD Therapeutic Modalities facilitated Dr. Don Posson; and Career Preparation & Job Development facilitated by Annie Emprima. Services include assistance with applying for disability claim benefits, pro-bono legal assistance, service provider referrals and more.

The mission is to assist in empowering veterans and their families transition through active military service and building a successful life. LAAD is designed to advocate for troops returning home and veterans at every stage of their lives, in particular, their life after active military service.
